The Humphrey School of Public Affairs is the University of
Minnesota's school of policy and planning.

Fellowships help the Humphrey School to recruit
top students and lessen the cost of a graduate education. There is no better investment in tomorrow's leaders!

A Word of Thanks

"Without this fellowship, I wouldn’t be able to finish the program—or even have started it in the first place. Humphrey students really do represent the future—an outward facing, optimistic future where we are trying to make things better for the entire populace. That’s why it’s important to invest in students. Thank you.”

Learn Here. Lead Everywhere.

Students are at the heart of everything we do. At its core, the Humphrey School is a professional school of public policy and planning that prepares tomorrow’s leaders for service in public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

Supporting students is our highest priority. The majority of financial aid available to students at the Humphrey School comes from private philanthropy. Fellowships are critical in making a Humphrey education possible for students with financial challenges and to recruit the most accomplished students regionally and nationally.

Humphrey Alumni Scholarship

Humphrey Alumni Scholarships help second-year students complete their degrees.

Humphrey Public Leaders Fellowship

Proceeds from the annual Hubert H. Humphrey Public Leadership Awards event benefit the Humphrey Public Leaders Fellowship, a scholarship initiative of the Humphrey School Advisory Council. These fellowship recipients demonstrate outstanding promise for future leadership positions. They are, simply, among the best and brightest of our students
